We highlighted some of our farm family you will meet when you visit our farm or see regularly on our social media! We often times take them to markets and events as well! We have lots of animal come and go but despite the life they live out or purpose they serve on the farm, each is loved for their time with us and hand cared for. Make sure to follow us at www.facebook.com/StumpFarmsMagnolia and www.Instagram.com/StumpFarms for more animal updates!
LARRY We bought our sweet Larry shortly after moving to Magnolia from, our now, local friends. He was raised in our home with our two dogs Marley & Evee! He adopted some doggy habbits along the road like sitting for his treats, watching football with dad & barking at the door when friends arrived! Larry eventually decided the great outdoors was where his heart belonged just before turning a year old. These days he prefers to live in the barn with the rest of his family. His hobbies include sun bathing, eating (a lot), chasing chickens for cardio, playing tricks on his friends (he loves to laugh) & hanging out with his human family where he can get plenty of tummy rubs!
Jinx Possibly the sweetest heart on our farm. Our gentle giant is so protective of his animal and human family. He loves playing in the rain, helping us with any project by supervising…closely, and getting brushed. He has to warm up to new people or additions sometimes and is a very critical thinker but we wouldn’t replace him for the world!
Gia Our sweet girl acts more like a dog than cow sometimes. She was bottle fed and is being raised as a dairy cow to eventually provide cheese and milk for our farm. She is so playful and not scared to give a kiss to strangers….or 10!
Pinky Lo chose Pinky as her house bunny two years ago. She lives out her life inside with the family but during nice weather may go outdoors. She’s a little skittish of anyone not her family and is the first to run and hide, despite her huge size. Bunny kisses are her favorite and she loves to cuddle while we work.
Hunter Hunter is a French breed of domestic rabbit. She was rescued by friends in Houston after witnessing her chase a jogger on a running trail one Spring day. She’s feisty and very vocal for such a petite girl. She prefers to be held like a baby and loves attention! Many times we take her out with us to events and education ventures.
Spooky Bird Polish breed of chickens are known for their calm and social demeanor. Spooky was from our first set of Polish’s. Lo hand raised her and she is Hen#1 on the farm! While doing chores or gardening, she is always eager to see what we are up to or “help”. She loves attention as well and being talked to.
